No. You should be getting your vitamins from your diet. Taking Genesis Gold® with a balanced diet including a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables will help insure you’re getting enough vitamins, minerals and cofactors for optimal healthy.
I only recommend taking vitamins with Genesis Gold® in two cases:
1) if you’re trying to conceive or are pregnant – you need extra folic acid, preferably active methyltetrahydrofolate (MTHF) in a sublingual form.
2) you’re Vitamin D deficient – vitamin D is a fat soluable vitamin that we naturally make in our skin when exposed to adequate sunlight. If 80% of your skin is exposed to just fifteen minutes of sunshine, you’ll make 4000IU of Vitamin D. As the skin ages, it’s less efficient at making vitamin D.
Vitamin D3 is the active form you need to maintain health. Vitamin D3 helps your hormones get into your cells. By helping your body use calcium, Vitamin D3 helps with bone formation preventing osteoporosis.
Vitamin D3 can only be found in animal sources. Since Genesis Gold® is plant based, if you are deficient, you will need to supplement with Vitamin D3. The best dietary sources of Vitamin D are from fatty fish. Vitamin D3 must be taken with fat for the best absorption.
All other vitamins should be obtained from your diet. Especially fat soluble vitamins as your liver stores fat soluable vitamins which can create toxicity.
Fat soluable vitamins include Vitamin A, E, and K.
Water soluable vitamins include Vitamin C and all the B vitamins.
